ABOUT US

Since 1800 my ancestors have been passing on their love of land and viticulture. They bred cattle, grew wheat and tobacco and produced cheese, butter and wine for the family. Now we are proud to carry on this passion offering you our wines. Our aim is to enhance the value of the territory where we live, the vineyards, the microclimate and the winemaking process which has been handed down through generations.

TERRITORY

The winery is situated in Mori Vecchio, a hilly area famous for viticulture and for the production of full-bodied red wines. The vineyards are set on terraced lands 'stolen' from steep woods above the town. The training system is 'Guyot semplice', typical of the classical Haut-Mèdoc grape varieties: Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Merlot. The favourable microclimate of southern Vallagarina valley, which is characterised by considerable temperature range between day and night, and the south-east exposition contribute to reinforce berries skins, to make the flavours more intensive and to allow a perfect grape ripening.

ERMINIO

VALLAGARINA IGT CABERNET FRANC

Erminio was a man of another era, tenacious, honest and of few words. He loved the mountains. Up there, just a look and a bit of silence in the heart are enough to live true emotions. This Cabernet Franc is the wine that best represents him and that, in its particularity, is able to convey unique and unrepeatable sensations, emotions that take us back to a moment of the past, to look forward with confidence to the future.

GERMANO

TRENTINO DOC CABERNET SAUVIGNON RISERVA

To my father and all my ancestors who have passed on through generations their love of land and viticulture. Germano originates from our passion for viticulture. It is characterised by complex, persistent aromas with notes of ripe fruit and spices. To the palate it is balanced, full-bodied, highly persistent and it has got the right amount of tannin.

NOAL

TRENTINO SUPERIORE DOC RISERVA MERLOT

This full-bodied, balanced wine is the ultimate expression of the terraced vineyards above Mori Vecchio. Moderate tannins provide good structure. The aroma is intense and inviting with notes of ripe berries, violet, mixed berries, cherry and plum.

TRILOGIA

TRENTINO DOC ROSSO RISERVA

Soil, sun and water are harmoniously combined by human hands to produce this wine. Trilogia holds the features of the grape varieties of which it is composed: Merlot's delicacy, Cabernet Franc's nature and Cabernet Sauvignon's nobility.

BINDIS

VALLAGARINA IGT ROSSO

“Bindis” or “Binde” is the ancient name of Mori Vecchio, and it refers to a strip of cultivated land. This wine is a tribute to the connection between the land and the community that lives in it. This wine was created in 2015 as a base to further enhance the quality of the wines that make up our Bordeaux blend.

DUMALIS

VALLAGARINA IGT ROSATO

Dumalis is a rosé wine obtained from vinification through saignée technique of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Lagrein and Pinot Grigio. It is refreshing with flavours of fruit which, like a rosebud, gives its best at a young age.

TRAMINER

TRAMINER AROMATICO VALLAGARINA IGT

This wine is obtained from the vinification of Traminer grapes that occurs after cold maceration for about 8 hours. The wine is bright, golden yellow. To the nose it is aromatic, complex and it has got flavours of fruit and flowers and notes of spices. To the palate it is strong, sapid, balanced, highly persistent and full-bodied.

CHARDONNAY

CHARDONNAY VALLAGARINA IGT

The grapes come from an old vineyard situated on a hilly area of about 1800 square meter. The training system is 'pergola trentina' and there is no irrigation. The vines are about 43 years old. Classic white vinification, with fermentation and aging in French oak. This is how this golden yellow wine is born, with an intense, fruity, slightly aromatic aroma, with excellent persistence and with a lot of territory within it.

The winery is open all year round from Monday to Saturday at the following times:
Monday to Friday 9:00-11:00 / 15:00-18:00
Saturday between 15:00-18:00
